Weiping is a senior advisor at Norwest, providing counsel to Norwest’s portfolio companies in the areas of AI, technology, and engineering. With over 20 years of experience, she has developed both enterprise and consumer solutions. In the past decade, she has concentrated on transforming AI prototypes into user-friendly products, ensuring they are production-ready and meet standards of robustness, safety, and security. Additionally, she has dedicated significant effort to modernizing technology stacks to make them AI-ready. Through these methodologies, Weiping has built and led teams to implement trusted AI products and platforms for major enterprise software companies, including Salesforce, which are currently deployed across the Fortune 500.

Weiping lives in San Francisco, and is currently Distinguished Engineer at Airbnb where she has responsibility for their generative AI products.
