Kurt has more than 30 years of experience in financial management.

Having joined Norwest in 2000, Kurt served as the Administrative Partner for over two decades before moving into a Senior Advisor role in 2024. As an advisor, Kurt provides strategic counsel and guidance to Norwest portfolio companies helping them navigate complex financial challenges.

Before joining Norwest, Kurt was vice president and chief financial officer at Information Advantage, a publicly-traded Norwest portfolio company in the enterprise software market. Earlier, he was senior vice president and CFO at ValueRx, a pharmaceutical managed care company with $2 billion in revenue, and he held executive finance positions at several other public companies, including Cowles Media Company, EBP HealthPlans, and CPC, an online information services company. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche.

Kurt, a CPA, holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, with a major in accounting.
