A results-focused eCommerce executive, Matt touches on his significant operational, marketing, strategic and general management experience to counsel portfolio companies as a senior advisor at Norwest Venture Partners. Throughout his career, Matt has shown a unique ability to design, build, lead and drive operational, marketing and analytics initiatives from thought to execution utilizing data-driven recommendations, persuasive communication, collaborative cross-functional team-building and leadership.
Most recently, Matt led operations and marketing at Tobi.com, a fast-fashion digitally native vertical brand. During his time at Tobi, Matt was a key part of the leadership team and built, developed and oversaw a variety of teams, functions and initiatives in the areas of Search marketing (SEO, SEM, Shopping), Fulfillment, Customer Care, HR, Accounting, Finance and Legal. In addition to his experience at Tobi, Matt has a remarkable background in online marketing, analytics, and strategy that he developed via four years at QuinStreet (Ticker: QNST), an online marketing and media company, and three years at Bain & Co, a leading management consultancy.
Matt holds a JD-MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and a BA from UC Berkeley.
