Susana focuses on venture opportunities in the healthcare sector, including biopharma, medical devices, and diagnostics.

Prior to Norwest, Susana earned her Ph.D. in computational biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During her Ph.D., Susana was a Venture Fellow at MPM BioCapital where she focused on biotech venture creation opportunities. She also published multiple papers in high impact journals on the role of cellular organization in cancer and therapeutic development.

Susana also has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Williams College.
